Real cotton lace impregnated with porcelain clay is used to dress the figurines with the characteristic ruffles along with handmade porcelain flowers. In the final stage of production, the figurines are individually painted by craftsmen, each of whom must have the skill of an artist to achieve the exacting standards required in painting the figurines. Irish Dresden figures are renowned worldwide. Presidents John F. Kennedy, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton & Mrs. Nancy Reagan have all been presented with Irish Dresden figurines.
