Winnie the Pooh is wearing a Santa hat, and he's feeling particularly generous. For he's sharing a pot of honey with his best friend, Piglet. These beloved Disney characters are charmingly depicted in A Honey of a Holiday, a fully sculptural Christmas ornament by the artists of Lenox. Crafted in ivory fine china, the ornament is accented by hand with 24 karat gold and pleasing pastels. The year of issue appears in gold on the trim of Pooh's hat.
A Honey of a Holiday is the first in a collection of annual Disney sculptural ornaments by Lenox. A limited edition, the ornament will be crafted only until Christmas Day 2001. Each ornament is accompanied by a gold tassel cord for hanging and bears both the Lenox hallmark and Disney name in pure 24 karat gold.
